Formerly cover of the Tombo da Comenda do Salvador de Vila Pouca de Aguiar (of 1560). Vila Pouca de Aguiar is located ca 90 km east of Braga. The fragment is formed by two leaves from two different manuscripts now stitched together. Folio A is a fragment of an Antiphoner; it is severely mutilated and mended with parchment. Folio B comes from a Missal and it is faded in many points. Folio B has a red line for notation, while the red line is scarcely visible on folio A.

Breviary fragment folio A: 288-296 x 202-207 mm. Text arranged in two columns, 16 wl.
Fol. Ar: two columns which measure ca 245 x 95-100. The right column is mutilated by a cut along the vertical edge.
Fol. Av: two columns which measure ca 242-245 x 95-98. The left column is mutilated by a cut along the vertical edge.
Missal fragment folio B: 303-308 x 207-227.
Fol. Br: two columns which measure c. 282 x 86. The right column is mutilated by a cut along the vertical edge.
Fol. Bv: two columns which measure c. 285 x 85-90. The left column is mutilated by a cut along the vertical edge.

Folio A: black or red initials. Folio B: red and brown initials, some with simple decorative designs; rubrics in red.
Inscriptions and marks:
Later hand inscriptions are found on fol. Br. "13" was written by a modern hand in red ink. Another modern hand wrote "Caixa 250 n. 24". At the top of the folio another - much older - hand wrote "A Comenda do Salvador de Vila Pouca de Aguiar". The same inscription can be found written by another hand along the left edge of the same page.
